Our Story
Anakalice Academy of Distinction (A. A. D. Nigeria Limited) was founded in 2025 and registered in Abuja, Nigeria, with a clear purpose: to raise the standard of how organizations hire, develop and manage their people.
The name “Anakalice” is deeply personal. It blends An and Ak from our founder, Anita Akum Ankeli, with Alice, her mother and co-founder — family, legacy and the unshakeable pursuit of excellence.
What began as professional HR and recruitment expertise has grown into a full workforce solutions company — with a dedicated academy division for professional learning.

Meet Our Founder
Anita Ankeli — Founder & Lead Consultant
Anita Ankeli is a leadership-hiring and people-strategy professional with over 11 years of experience across HR leadership, executive recruitment, onboarding design and workforce systems. She specializes in end-to-end leadership hiring, role design and performance-aligned people structures that directly improve execution and accountability.
Her approach is systems-level: she evaluates not just whether a candidate can do the job, but whether the role, the structure and the leadership fit are right for long-term performance. Through Anakalice, she helps organizations eliminate costly mis-hires and build people systems that scale.
Anita is also the founder of AfricaBuiltByHer, a non-profit equipping African women with workplace readiness and practical career skills. She holds a B.A. in English (Linguistics & Literature) from Benue State University.
